We’re open for in-house dining!
I’ve been keeping a close eye on reported active cases in Dutchess County, and while still high, the numbers seem to be on a downward trend. Let’s hope this continues!
We’re happy to announce that we will resume in-house dining (at 50% capacity) beginning, Wednesday, January 27th, 2021.
As of March 10, 2021 our front patio will be open for outdoor dining on a first come, first serve basis, weather permitting. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are permitted on the patio, but please call ahead to make sure the patio is open first – seating is limited and very dependent on the daily weather forecast & temperature. Reservations are not accepted for outdoor dining.
Our new and improved heated tent will be returning, hopefully by the end of March. Check back soon for more details.
We are open 7 days a week. Our hours of operation are:
11:30am-11pm in the Bistro (no reservations accepted)
5:00pm- around 9:00pm in the Dining Room (reservations accepted)
Our staff is rested, rejuvenated and ready to welcome you back. We will continue to do everything that we can to make sure they (and you) remain healthy. Please remember that masks are required for everyone in the building when not seated at a table to eat, and very much appreciated when you are interacting with any staff members, even if you are seated at your table.
Of course our takeout and curbside services are always available too. If you haven’t yet, check out our new app (available in the apple store or google play). We still have some great takeout specials available, like a wine and cheese plate.

Happy New Year! With the holidays behind us and the new year here, I’ve made some important decisions for Terrapin.
Beginning Monday, January 11, 2021, Terrapin will shift to takeout only, with curbside pick up available.
I feel this is the right thing to do for the safety of both our employees and the community. We are happy to continue to serve you; just in a different way that will mean a lot less exposure and risk for the people serving you.
Our kitchen will be open daily for takeout.
Beginning Monday, our new hours (until further notice) are:
Monday – Friday 4pm – 9pm
Saturday & Sunday 1pm – 9pm
Our full menus will be available, with minor modifications suited to takeout, expanded options for family style dining and special pairing dinners to go available on the weekends.
With the modified hours, pasta and dining room entrees will be available anytime we’re open – yes, that includes lunch on the weekends!
This is our plan for the next couple of weeks. At that point, we’ll re-evaluate and decide our next steps. Thank you for your continued support as we do our best to start the new year out in the safest way possible.
