UPDATE March 10, 2021 –
All is well and we will be re-opening tomorrow, March 10th at 11:30am. Thank you so much for all the support and love while we temporarily closed our doors. The affected employee is well on the road to recovery and our team has been tested and cleared to get back to work!
We took advantage of the time we had to freshen up the restaurant with a good, thorough cleaning, just in time for spring!
We’ve also pulled out some patio seating with the forecast looking so beautiful this week. We’ll be opening our front patio for outdoor dining (weather permitting). By the end of the month, our new and improved heated tent will be up and back in service.

Dear Guests,
Despite our best efforts to avoid the inevitable, we have unfortunately had a team member test positive for Covid-19. The affected staff member consistently wore a mask, last worked Friday, February 26th, and is doing well.
We’re confident we’ve done everything possible to make Terrapin a safe place for both our staff and our community. While we wish it wasn’t the case, we’ve decided the best thing we can do at this time is to temporarily close our doors, make sure the rest of our staff is healthy and give our space a good, thorough cleaning.
We are closely following the advice of our local health department, and it doesn’t seem that there is any great risk to the community at this time. That said, if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to us at info@terrapinrestaurant.com. If you have a reservation coming up that will be affected, we’ll be in touch soon.
We expect to be closed through this Saturday at minimum, but will make our final decision on re-opening based on the guidance of the health department and the well being of our staff and guests. We can’t wait to see you again once everyone is healthy and well!
