All are welcome at Terrapin, and we strive to make dining at our restaurant a comfortable experience for everyone who walks through our door.
Terrapin is fully ADA compliant. There is one handicapped parking space available in the small lot behind the restaurant. Guests can find an access ramp along the side of the building (Livingston Street) that leads directly into the main dining room. In the dining room there is an ADA accessible gender neutral restroom. Bistro access is available through the main dining room. Patio and pavilion access are available through the outdoor entrances to both spaces. We also have padded seat cushions available upon request for both indoor and outdoor dining.
Terrapin is a proud member of the The Village of Rhinebeck Autism Supportive Community, a program to train volunteers, businesses, and community leaders to help make the community more welcoming for people on the autism spectrum and with other disabilities. Chef Kroner is an active committee member, and Terrapin has sensory kits available, offers reduced noise in the dining space at certain times of day, offers curbside pick up and limited wait times.
If there’s anything we can do to make your visit more comfortable, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
